- Seminary Fen Ravine Project
The City of Chaska is partnering with the Lower MN River Watershed District and Carver County Water Management Organization on a project to fix erosion and prevent sediment from flowing into the rare Seminary Fen wetland.
The project area begins on the east side of Hazeltine Bluff Park and extends south to the Seminary Fen wetland. Work includes the construction of a stormwater pond on east side of Hazeltine Bluff Park, tree removal, and grading/vegetation restoration of ravine slopes.
Construction access for the project is along the city trail east of Audubon Rd and from Ridge Bluff Drive, via Hazeltine Bluff Park.
