Apply for a Commission

The City of Chaska has multiple Commission openings beginning January 2026 with a three-year term of service. These are volunteer positions. Note: Student Positions are for 1 (one) year only.

Commissions openings:

  • Planning Commission – 4 open positions
  • Park and Recreation Board – 3 open positions (1 of the above 3 positions is a student age 16-20 for a 1 year term)
  • Human Rights Commission – 4 open positions (1 of the above 4 positions is a student age 16-20 for a 1 year term)
  • Heritage Preservation – 3 open positions
