Shade Tree Program

The shade tree sale is live! Chaska property owners can purchase shade trees at wholesale prices through the Chaska Public Works Department.

Here's how the program works:

  • Orders will be taken March 16 thru April 10
  • Here's how to place orders
    • In-person at the Chaska Municipal Services Building 
    • Call 952-448-4335 between 7:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. 
    • Note: If paying with a credit card, there is a processing fee, and you will need to pay in-person at the Municipal Services Building.
    • Chaska Municipal Services Building address: 660 Victoria Drive, Chaska MN 55318. 
  • Chaska Public Works will deliver the trees to homeowners, curbside, for a charge of $3.00.
  • Trees are not under warranty since they are at wholesale prices.
  • Limited quantities available on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • This program is only available in the spring.

All trees listed below are 2 to 2 1/2 inches in diameter and are balled and bagged (B&B).

  • 2-inch Sugar Maple 
  • 10-foot (tree height) River Birch Clump 
  • 2-inch Autumn Blaze Maple

  • 2.5-inch Autumn Blaze Maple
  • 2.5-inch Sienna Glen Maple
  • 2.5-inch Princeton Elm
  • 2.5-inch Hackberry
  • 2.5-inch Swamp White Oak
  • 2.5-inch American Sentry Linden

This program is sponsored by the Chaska City Council and the Chaska Public Works Department. It is designed to both replace lost trees and add to the City's tree population.
